I just recently came back to teaching after taking some time off. The school I'm at is amazing and super supportive but there is not a lot of funds to stock up my kind of empty classroom. I want my students to LOVE reading as much as I do. And I think having an inviting space with good books will help make that happen. I have several students that have told me they don't even own any books at home. I would like to be able to loan out books to those students so they have something to read at home.
