Mathematical and scientific concepts can be difficult for students with special needs to understand. With these materials, they will be able to make connections between the skills and concepts being taught and physically seeing and doing them to make those real-world connections. Using hands-on materials will allow students to see how the concepts in physics and biology work and how they can apply these concepts to everyday living and working. Being able to make everyday, real-life connections will allow them to carry this knowledge into later years in school as well as adulthood for independent living. With these science kits and materials, I can make science concepts come to life for them and making their learning much more engaging.
