These materials will give students the opportunity of quality play time with interactive outdoor equipment. Students will learn how to use the equipment through outdoor play, games, and exercise. They will be given the opportunity to use the equipment during teacher instruction, play time, and peer interaction. The students will have the opportunity to interact with one another, learn different playground games and rules, and learn how to take care of equipment. Students will have opportunities to use playground balls to learn different games such as: 4 square, ball toss and kick ball. They will use the jump ropes to kick off a Jump Rope for heart event at school, and they will use the platform stilts to learn how to balance and strengthen gross motor skills. The equipment cart will be used to store the equipment.
