By donating these products, students will have the materials to help them be successful in Reader's and Writer's workshop. The binders will be given to each child in the second grade. These binders will be used to keep track of student's reading goals, reading logs, and mini lesson materials. The folders will be used to organize students' writing materials during Writer's Workshop. Each student will be given a set of 5 folders. The colored paper will be used to color-code the different components of the Reader's Workshop. This will help to keep students organized.
The pillows will be used to create a library corner in a second grade classroom that is comfortable and inviting for students to read in. These materials will help keep students organized and excited about reading and writing!
