The students at my school have received music instruction off of a cart for many years. Changing enrollment has made music 'mobile', as students have two music teachers who push into their general education classrooms.
The opportunity has come for the students to have a classroom where they can be fully immersed in music, and we are starting from scratch! The carpets will serve two purposes; providing comfortable seating, and the use as instructional tools and learning aides. Students will be able to utilize the carpets for large and small group work, as well as rotating centers and constant visual aids for learning.
