Students need to incorporate 21st Century learning into their daily literacy. Having a resource, such as tablets, helps us do just that. They will be able to use foundational reading skills while utilizing the Kindles. "If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn." -Ignacio Estrada We all learn in different ways. Some of us learn better by listening. Others learn by visualization. The tablets will help struggling readers listen to the stories while following along with the text. This will be great for those who want to enjoy multiple varieties of books. Students can enjoy many levels and genres at their finger tips. The applications are an added bonus!
