I currently teach Technology class, which is an innovative instructional program that prepares students to effectively use technology in learning and communication. There are 125 sixth grade students from a small poverty rural area in which all students receive free meals.
The students are in need of a color printer and ink cartridges. Research has shown that color in the classroom increases student learning by as much as 75%, while also increasing students' participation by up to 80%. This printer will be beneficial to all seventh grade students. They will be allowed to print class reports, colorful brochures, pamphlets, and other projects. This would encourage students to work hard and take pride in their work.
I hope that you consider funding this color printer for our classroom. The students and I will be very appreciative.
