Hi everyone, I'm a second grade teacher at Pleasant Hill Academy in Cincinnati, Oh. I've been teaching in a public school environment for many years. My demographic of students face hardships and challenges on a daily basis. However, against all odds they show up eager to learn. Many of them love coming to school to receive a smile, a hug and just some positive attention. I love what I do and I care a great deal about my students. Even when I feel like I'm exhausted and just want to crawl back in bed I remind myself that my kids are looking forward to seeing me.
