The students in my classroom learn in a variety of ways. Giving them different seating options to work at is a great way to reach all students. Some students may like to sit at a desk while others may enjoy standing or sitting on a wobble chair or stability ball. Giving students a choice in their work space will create a positive and welcoming learning environment for all. Creating an environment for a variety of learners will benefit everyone in the classroom. Students will love the freedom of seating choices that benefit them. During independent work time in the classroom students will be focused on the task at hand.
