I want to provide my students with supplies to inspire their creativity everywhere. My students struggle to have personal art supplies. They often can't stay after school because of family obligations. I am hoping to provide an easy way for them to get what they need academically and artistically.
I want to put together take-home art supply kits. Pencils, pastels and other easily transported supplies. They would be able to check out a folder and a container with art supplies. The student could use the art materials to finish a school assignment or to create on their own. Creating these take-home kits provides access to supplies that students cannot afford to purchase on their own. My students will have the opportunity to create freely in their own spaces and further their inspiration and dreams.
