Increasing students access to technology in the classroom will have a profound impact on the students that I teach. Students today live in a world dominated by technology. Without access to computers, both at home and at school, my students are at a disadvantage in reaching their potential. The Chromebooks will help to support my students' 21st century skills and learning.
These Chromebooks will help to create transformational learning opportunities for students and guide them to experience both academic and personal growth. Research suggests that students are more likely engaged and motivated when instruction incorporates technology. Furthermore, the use of this technology in my classroom will provide students resources and skills that will aid them in daily experiences beyond the confines of my classroom.
My hope is that by using these Chromebooks, students in my class will become creators of information online, as well as critical thinkers and problem solvers.
