I have cut up several large whiteboards (I bought at Home Depot) that small groups of students will use all throughout the school year. The benefit of individual whiteboards is that the engagement level is far greater then students simply watching someone else work the front of the classroom whiteboard. We use the whiteboards for many activities such as quick response, symbol sketching, thinking maps, simulations, quizzes and many more. Over 140 students will directly benefit from these dry erase markers. I have found that students are most successful when they can individually express themselves using these whiteboards. Thank you for your help with this!
