These reading phones will help my English Language Learners hear themselves as they are pronouncing letter sounds, sounding out words and reading. These tools will bring enjoyment and immediate feedback to their reading.
One of the most powerful ways to increase reading success is more practice reading. This project provides extra reading practice where the whole class can be reading aloud at the same time but will keep the noise level in the class low, because they can hear themselves clearly even at a whisper through these phones.
As the reading interventionist I work all day everyday with struggling readers and this project will benefit students for years to come. Thank you so much for your support of this project.
