By the time they reach high school, teenagers define part of themselves with their relationship with school. My job is twofold: To channel my students' diverse interests and abundant energy into our learning activities. And to help those students who have lost their curiosity and enthusiasm, who now define themselves by years of failure, to re-image themselves into successful learners.
I teach six classes of English Language Arts at a high school in Auburn, ME. Four of my classes are sophomores and two are freshmen.
