Thanks in advance for any donations. I am a 7th/8th ELL teacher in an urban district in Massachusetts. My classroom is designed for newcomer immigrants and refugees with limited English. My students are from all across the world (Colombia, Brazil, Vietnam, Ghana, El Salvador, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kenya, Namibia, Cambodia). I love the diversity of culture and language of my students. Being a refugee and immigrant in America, my students face many challenges. Having school supplies should not be one of them. My focus this year is for all my students to have direct access to school supplies they have ownership of.
