All of my students want to learn how to make their lives easier by becoming technology literate. While the school has some technology, we do not have any that can stay in the library for the kids who visit the library. Students come to the library to research and have old, very slow computers that take so long to load that their time is wasted waiting. If my students had newer technology, they could do their research, work on more in-depth coding, research for STEM projects, complete math projects, and their science projects. These iPads will give my students a reliable and updated technology that they can use without excessive wait times. My school is 100% free-reduced and these iPads would help these students find their way outside our little rural community to the bigger world around them.
