A bright colorful classroom rug would brighten our classroom as well as allow a gathering place for students to collaborate with one another. Students will thrive when they can choose whether to sit at their desks or sit in areas on the rug. They can gather together on the rug and share ideas, collaborate, work in groups, interact with each other and build a community within the classroom.
I want to make my classroom space a place that allows students to feel comfortable! I have noticed that when a learning space evolves, students' work improves immensely, and their grades improve.
