This rug will allow my students some place to sit instead of having to sit on the floor. The bare floor can be cold and it can also be dirty at times. Having a classroom rug will allow them to have a clean and comfortable place to sit, because a lot of kindergarten learning takes place on the carpet. Also, it will allow them to have a place to lay and read during their independent reading time every day. Students enjoy reading time on the carpet and having this classroom rug would allow them to have the space to do this!
