Students with disabilities have a variety of needs. Many of my students with Autism have a variety of sensory needs. We work closely with the occupational therapist to meet theses needs we have been lucky enough to get a swing in my classroom, quiet tent, trampoline, and therapy ball. The therapy ball is our students favorite. They prefer to sit on the ball when working, instead of a regular chair, and bounce. The problem with using a regular therapy ball as a chair is that is can sometimes roll out from underneath from them when they are bouncing and working. These bouncy chairs would provide our students with safe, alternate seating that meets their sensory needs.
