I am a new teacher to EL Education. I am so in love with this style of teaching, and I really think it will help my kiddos out! The school focuses heavy on character education, as well as academics. I am working on creating a calm and natural environment that will give my children the chance to learn and grow with new book shelves, a betta tank, scissors and glue. This is extremely necessary for my children. Many of my students are diagnosed ADHD, as well as some with diagnosed sensory issues. Creating this calming environment, will allow my children to focus and not be overstimulated. My students need this type of environment and this is a way I can advocate for them.
