I am currently a third grade teacher in a Title One School, which serves approximately 600 students in grades Preschool-5th grade. I have a Masters degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. Through my education and teaching experience, I have grown to value the importance of teaching each child where he or she is. I understand that every day that I walk into the classroom, that I will be greeted with a room full of children who all come from different backgrounds, with different perspectives, goals, strengths, and obstacles to over come. Children really are the future of our world and it is my desire to impact as many of them as possible and to help them reach farther than they dreamed that they could.
