In Feb. 2016, our school moved into a portables-only campus that lacks access to green-space or shade during recess, and lacks any permanent architecture or landscaping. The students will be on this temporary campus for at least seven years. With materials from this grant, our second grade students can participate in a long-term, cooperative, meaningful mural project that will beautify and personalize our campus. And the entire school will benefit.
