When children interact with content, they are more likely to understand and capture the essence of learning. By building robots, my students will overcome given obstacles and take ownership of their learning. They will engage with the engineering process as well as fully develop a growth mindset that will stay with them for years to come.
There is no limit to what can be accomplished when students work together to solve a given problem. Robotics will provide my students opportunites to fully explore, not only the engineering process but their own creativity. This will help foster a sense of ownership in their learning as well as inspire their creativity by solving real world problems within the confines of a safe environment.
I put 25 students for my project because that is a typical class size; however, these robots are reusable. The number of students that this project will reach is unmeasurable.
