Hello! I'm Mrs. Amick and I teach the 6th Grade Gifted/Accelerated Academy Class at Andersen Elementary School. Our school has a very diverse population from children with different abilities to children from all socioeconomic backgrounds. The diversity of our school and community is what I love. I graduated from Rockledge High School, and I still live here and serve the children of our community. My class is unique because there is an opportunity to truly nurture the needs of gifted and talented students in a self-contained setting. Our classroom is a safe environment for students to explore, express, and expand their knowledge.
