I am a firm believer that students need to wiggle as they learn. This is especially true for Kindergarteners. This year will be their first experience in school, and we have high expectations for their attention spans. I believe it is my role as their teacher to support them in every way I can, which includes their physical needs. I will create options for their seating including wobble chairs, stability balls, floor cushions, taller desks for standing, and clipboards for sitting or lying on the floor. I will establish the rule that they will be given these options as long as they are learning, and not disturbing others. Thank you for your time and consideration of helping to fund our kinetic classroom. I know it will help students achieve their goals, and enjoy the process!
