The use of flexible seating has been proven to increase focus, attention, and engagement among students. Even as adults, we need to move our bodies in order to keep our minds clear and focused on the task at hand. By providing these various learning options, my students are sure to succeed.
Your donations will allow my classroom to become a place of choice and learning.
Students who struggle to sit still or stay seated in a desk chair will be given the opportunity to lay on the rug, stand on a balance board, balance on a stool or bounce on a ball chair throughout a lesson or learning activity. These options will encourage more movement as well as increased focus and time on task, and work completion. All of this will develop a thriving, engaged, and successful first grader.
