I have chosen a kidney shaped student work table and office chair to provide a learning center for students to take part in teacher-guided learning activities in the areas of mathematics, literacy and science. This project will help students who need extra support and guidance from the teacher. When students are working on readers' or writers' workshop or a mathematics activity, this table will provide students with easy access to the teacher to maximize learning. The office chair will make it easy for the teacher to access students and minimize the back discomfort that comes with leaning over to help them.

About my class
