One thing third graders have in common is they love to move, whether it be on the playground or in the classroom. When it is time to sit down, however, kids prefer different seating options. In my class, some prefer stability balls, but the balls don't work for all kids.
The core engagement stools that I have chosen will give my students another healthy option when it comes to seating. The stools will allow kids that can't handle the bounciness of the yoga ball to still engage their core and increase their focus and productivity.
Some students prefer to work on the floor away from a desk. The portable lap desks will be offer another alternative to traditional chairs for my students.
When students are comfortable, they can focus. When they focus, they will learn more.
