My students are requesting STEM activity kits to use during science. They will help increase problem solving and allow kids to be critical thinkers. These kits will be used along with our current curriculum and the National Science Standards. Students will have the opportunity to work with collaborative teams to change the ending of three fairy tales by building possible solutions to the problems. They will also learn about force and motion and will create projects to demonstrate their ability to problem solve with that as the main goal. Additionally, students can gain experience in following blueprints to engineer bridges and other structures. . Each of these experiences further their experience in science, technology, engineering, math.

About my class
