“A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove . . . but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child." - Kathy Davis
I am a special education instructor for Kindergarten through fifth grade. I teach reading, language, writing, and mathematics in the resource classroom and third- and fifth-grade mathematics in an inclusive setting. I co-teach third- and fifth-grade mathematics, collaborating with teachers in order to meet the needs of all learners. In addition, I am part of my district’s Differentiated Instruction Focus Group, Behavioral Health Committee, and Least Restrictive Environment Improvement Plan. My school district is composed of two elementary schools and one combined middle/high school. We have approximately 1,350 students in the district.
