Research shows, if you read with your child in two languages that your child will be a better reader in the primary language taught. I want to give my students and their parents an opportunity to check out books that are written in both English and Spanish. During my parent night, each parent and child will get a chance to browse the bilingual book section that I will develop with help of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½, and take a book home to read with their child. Students will then bring the book back and will be given another book they can take home to enjoy with their parents. This will help the parents get more involved with their child's learning and will make a difference to improve my students' school life.
