My students are working to develop research projects relating to African-American history with a particular focus on local stories in Cleveland. The books requested in this project will provide an on-campus basis for this work. Oftentimes it is difficult for my students to access local libraries due to scheduling conflicts, transportation difficulties, and other concerns. My goal is to build on the in-school collection I have already assembled. Because our school does not have a librarian or library research collection, it's up to the teachers - and generous donors - to make meaningful projects like this possible.
