Hello Everyone!
Twenty third-graders and I are excited for the school year to start! Since our school educates children living in a nearby homeless shelter, many of these third-graders have a challenging day-to-day life. With your donations, students will look forward coming to a place where they can grow as a person as well as a student. With an assortment of books in our classroom library, students can travel the world while remaining in the classroom. With manipulatives, students can use concrete objects before understanding abstract concepts. With educational games, students can practice math skills, grammar rules, and writing by working individually, in partners, or in small groups. With whiteboards, students will be able to reason through and display their thinking to their teacher as well as their classmates. By donating, students will have the resources needed to be an independent, empowered learner.
