All of my students, particularly those with attention disorders, have a strong need to continually be moving. In the modern classroom, it is expected that students remain seated for a significant portion of the day. When students have attention and physical challenges, it is extremely difficult for them to meet these expectations. They need a way to build their muscles and exert their extra energy throughout the school day. Kore Wobble Chairs will enable my students to be active (yet not disruptive) for up to 180 minutes of instructional time throughout the day. It will allow them to focus on the grade level content, rather than struggling to keep their bodies still. These chairs will give my students the opportunity to succeed, potentially to the level of their peers, by eliminating this one significant challenge.
