The supplies and materials that I am requesting for my classroom will find their new homes with my Kinders in their individual supply boxes. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I need to keep my Kinders engaged and motivated as well as safe in school. The 1-inch binders, laminating pouches, and sheet protectors will be used for Literacy and Math Stations that are both individualized and differentiated. The zippered pouches and plastic envelopes will house our Reading Tools, Math Tools, Science Tools, and daily supplies. The colorful photo boxes will hold magnetic letters for our word work. The clear spinners will be used during our Math and Literacy time for individual games and activities. The whiteboards will be used daily for our letter writing, sound spelling, and number talks. The donations to this project will help my students develop high levels of engagement and ultimately cultivate the building blocks of reading, writing, and so much more, but also keep them safe. By implementing individualized supply boxes, literacy stations, math stations, and science projects my students will see themselves as true learners, readers, authors, leaders, mathematicians, and scientists. We will use these supplies and materials daily to help us access the kindergarten curriculum. As a teacher, I have done loads of research on how to best individualize supplies and yet maintain a community of excited learners. I truly need your support to make this project a success.
