Hello! I am a special education teacher serving students in a K-5 Academic Learning Center in Colton, OR. Colton is a small rural community in the foothills of the Cascades. My classroom serves students with Autism, Comminication Disorders, Emotional Disturbance, and other health impairments, but don't let any of that fool you---my students are AMAZING! I also run a Girl's Circle at our school to help build the confidence of girls in grades 2-5. In addition, as a member of the Student Study Team, I help identify and intervene in the needs of all of our 280+ students in Colton Elementary School, whether it's academic, social, emotional, or essentials. This is a rewarding place to work, and I'd love your help in serving these wonderful students to the best extent possible. We are a Title I school with limited resources.
