I have created a store that students are allowed to shop in each six weeks. Students have a reading log that they are responsible for logging daily reading times on. The reading log is filled with reading that is above and beyond their homework.
As students read for pleasure their minutes turn into Rocket Bucks (money) that they spend in the rewards store. The items I have chosen will serve as items for the students to buy.
As funding is minimal for libraries it is difficult to keep the Reward Store stocked with items. Therefore, I use my own money, donations, and fundraising to keep the store stocked for our children to enjoy.
