Each student having access to their own headphones will make their keyboard unit more enjoyable and effective for everyone involved. Students are discouraged when they can't hear themselves play. When everyone is playing at the same time without headphones it can sound cacophonous. The alternative is to have students each play separately, but that is much more time consuming and taxes everyone's patience. Students are so excited to play keyboards! They are a big hit every time I get them out. Students frequently request to play the keyboards. I haven't been able to allow more than a couple students to play them at a time. Students will be absolutely thrilled to all be playing at the same time!
