My students come from a high poverty area. Any and all donations would MAKE sure a huge impact in their lives. Watching my students learn and grow is the exact reason why I got into teacher and being in the district that I am in, I have learned even more about myself. These students come to school for love and to be loved by their teacher. I am so happy when my students walk through that door each and everyday and I know they feel the same way about seeing me everyday. I have had a student from a past year who has seen such tragedy in the past couple weeks and it makes me want to be the best I can be for everyone one of my kids. They might not be growing up like I did, but I am sure going to make sure they had the same education I did!
