Students often visit stations around the room where they view content and accomplish common goals in small groups. The use of clipboards would allow them to record information and make sense of content with ease.
I incorporate formative assessments throughout lessons to check for understanding and require students to reflect on their own learning. The use of dry erase boards during these informal assessments will allow students to provide individual responses that I can view simultaneously. Dry erase boards also serve as a helpful tool for quiz review games that encourage fun and friendly competition. The immediate data from these activities will help me identify areas where students need extra support and will help students see what they should study at home.
