I have requested 3 items for my classroom. I teach Teen Leadership, Psychology and Sociology. I am wanting to add more to my Sociology class. I've been teaching the subject for many years and seem to have gotten into a rut. I'm hoping the sociology book that I have requested will give me some interesting and new ideas that will be implemented in my classroom. The podium and magazine subscription will be used for my Teen Leadership class. My students give speeches about their life experiences every Friday. They talk about the good times in their lives, relationships, struggles, etc. My old podium is about to fall over from use through the years. I am requesting a sturdier model that they kids can use for the speeches and presentations. The magazine subscription will also be for that class. Teens face big challenges in the world today. I want them to understand that the choices that they make in life can have either positive or negative consequences. I want to use the magazine for us to read together and discuss during their classes. Thank you so much for your generous help!
