These books are carefully selected to engage readers so they can learn new content and skills. When students are engaged, they are more likely to retain information. Also, it is important for students to be exposed to a variety of themes, cultures, characters, topics and much more through reading. When we as teachers foster a love for reading books, students are eager to learn and read more. With this project, I am hoping to bring more excitement to our reading with these books. Further, expose them to a variety of texts to grow their minds. With this in mind, I hope these books will help them become life long readers and learners.

About my class
