These supplies will be used during science centers. I really need so much, but starting small will be fine. I just want to grow my classroom supplies to accommodate my grade four students and allow them to work in centers. I want to encourage creativity and independence. I want them out of their seats and working collaboratively in groups. I know with your help, this school year will inspire the scientists in all my students! My students need hands-on activities such as insect specimens, anatomy models, a world explorer carpet and rocks, that will help them explore and keep them engaged! Our students benefit from having manipulatives/ visuals. On the list, you will see I have picked out cell structures, both animal cell and plant cells. I have also picked out animal visuals to aide students explore when we study animal adaptations.
