The addition of technology to our classroom would give my students the ability and opportunity to learn their way! Technology is a large part of our world today and incorporating laptops, tablets, and other forms into the classroom helps to prepare our students for life in the real world. I teach in a low-income, Title I school where students often lack resources such as technology outside of the classroom.
Donating to this project would help bring the opportunity to utilize different methods of learning, such as technology, to those students who need it most.
The use of tablets and DVD players are crucial in our daily literacy centers. The students would be able to access websites such as Reading A-Z, Scootpad, and MobyMax. These websites can be tailored and differentiated to meet each student's individual needs. This would help me to design and implement instruction to help each child reach their fullest potential.
