My students need a real listening center where they can listen to stories while reading along with a book. This will help instill a greater reading interest for the students. This will also allow students to practice reading skills, learn new vocabulary words and listening/comprehension skills.
I am requesting a pocket-chart stand/charts and iPads to use with the student for phonics learning. As part of their learning students most come to learn the alphabet,letter sounds, sight words, blends etc. These materials will positively impact their learning throughout the school year.
The bean bags will provide students a comfortable and inviting place to read in our library.
