Much like the rest of the nation, the pandemic was hard on my students. After almost two years they will finally be coming back to the music room. Ukuleles will be a wonderful tool to build their musical abilities, heal their souls, and ease their transition back into the school building. Ukuleles are unique instruments that will allow my 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders to be able to immediately play chords with their classmates and give them room to advance and compose their own music. Ukuleles are also small enough for my younger students to have early positive musical experiences.
