My students are highly intelligent though they are students who have special needs. 70% of my students are also non-verbal. Even with the obstacles that the y are faced with each day to receive an education they have their own unique ways of connecting with their environment and communicating their love of learning. Through the use of sustained attention and a pictorially/print rich environment they work toward school success.
