I am PROUD to say that this is my 15th year as an educator. I have been fortunate to see my very first group of first graders go to college last year. It's been a blessing to have them come back and visit and hear stories of I remember...Over the years I've spent the majority of my career at schools that have struggled with funding. I've also taught in the private sector where funding wasn't an issue at all. The advantages that the private sector has greatly out weighs the resources that title 1 schools have. I want to give my students every possible chance to succeed despite their backgrounds and family circumstances. I try to create a warm welcoming environment where students get excited about learning. It's the little things that can make a huge impact.
