Children need to move. Flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow, and core strength. It also helps keep young minds more alert and focused. The floor seats will be used for the lowered table group. The back support will help them sit and learn for longer periods. The wobble seats will be at two regular table groups. The students rotate seating every month, so everyone will have a turn at sitting in a different spot. The students and I would appreciate help funding this project for new seating choices!
