My project has the opportunity to give the students in my classroom the ability to have a successful educational year. These materials will help make the classroom visually and colorfully appealing for the students. It will also help the students who have behavioral struggles stay calm with the burning of essential oils. A pocket schedule allows the teacher to display what is going to happen in the day so that the students have a clear idea and can mentally know what is going to happen. The storage bins will allow my students to have different options for sensory journeys like the water beads. The organization of the clipboards will allow each student to carry around their schedules to the different tables. The trampoline is another way that students can calm themselves down and go for a sensory break of jumping. All of these materials have the ability to help students with special needs be successful during their 2nd-grade year.
